Vaciero has appointed Raquel Ballestero as Partner in its Corporate Finance practice, recognising her outstanding career within the firm and reinforcing its commitment to the continued growth of its corporate advisory services, high-value transactions and international expansion.
Ballestero joined Vaciero in 2021 and has since played a key role in both Corporate Finance and Audit engagements. Throughout this period, she has advised on complex mergers and acquisitions, financing and refinancing transactions, investment strategies, business plans and expert financial reports.
Her appointment to the partnership marks another step forward in strengthening Vaciero's Corporate Finance practice and enhancing the firm's ability to provide comprehensive advisory services to both domestic and international clients.
Since 2024, Ballestero has also led Vaciero's international business development initiatives through its collaboration with Allinial Global, expanding the firm's international client base and representing Vaciero as a speaker at professional events across Europe and Latin America.
She holds degrees in Law and Business Administration from the University of Valladolid, a Master's Degree in Auditing and Executive Development from Loyola University, and a specialist qualification in Corporate Restructuring, Refinancing and Insolvency Law from IE Law School.
She has been a Registered Auditor (ROAC) since 2020. Alongside her professional career, she lectures in Finance at Francisco de Vitoria University and is a regular speaker at conferences and industry events focused on corporate finance and financial advisory.
