Vaciero collaborates on the University of Oviedo microcredential “How to Prepare Financial Projections for a Company”

The University of Oviedo is expanding its specialised training provision with the microcredential “How to Prepare Financial Projections for a Business”, designed to provide participants with knowledge and tools that can be applied in a professional setting.
Vaciero is collaborating on this initiative alongside the Asturian Family Business Association (AEFAS), the Asturias Association of Economists and Santander Universities.
Primarily aimed at professionals working in the business sector, the programme offers the opportunity to acquire specific training in financial modelling or to certify concrete, assessable learning outcomes aligned with their professional skills.

The microcredential will enable participants to understand the fundamental principles involved in building models based on a company’s financial projections. By the end of the programme, participants will have acquired the knowledge required to build and analyse different types of financial models in Excel, with a view to applying them in their day-to-day professional activities.

The teaching team also includes Elena Cubillas Martín and Matías Marino González, lecturers in the Finance area of the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Oviedo.
This collaboration forms part of Vaciero’s long-standing commitment to education, knowledge sharing and talent development.
The programme will be delivered in person and in Spanish from 5 October to 11 November 2026, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the IUDE+CEP facilities, located at 13 Calle González Besada, Oviedo.
The microcredential falls within the field of Social and Legal Sciences, is worth 4 ECTS credits and is limited to a maximum of 20 participants.
No previous qualification is required, although applicants must have basic knowledge of Accounting and Excel. Places will be allocated in order of registration.
The initial fee for the microcredential is €550. The programme is partially funded through Santander Scholarships, which provide a contribution of €300 per enrolment, provided that the participant applies for and is awarded the scholarship.
A 10% discount is also available to members of the Asturias Association of Economists and AEFAS. Discounts cannot be combined.
