Eduardo Borrego Pérez has a solid track record in Procedural and Insolvency Law, with over fifteen years of experience advising companies and clients on complex matters. Throughout his career, he has been involved in a wide range of judicial proceedings in civil and commercial law, as well as in insolvency proceedings, serving as part of the insolvency administrations in some of the most significant cases in Spain and advising both debtors and creditors throughout all stages of the insolvency process. He has also advised clients on the legal aspects of restructuring procedures, providing technical direction in several challenges to restructuring plans.
He spent much of his career at KPMG Spain, where he worked for more than 14 years as Associate, Senior Associate, and Senior Manager, gaining extensive experience advising companies from various sectors on judicial, insolvency, and restructuring matters, both nationally and internationally. He began his career as a junior lawyer at Padrol Munté Abogados and holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s in Business Law from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
His professional excellence has been recognized with awards such as Best Lawyers 2020, reflecting his reputation and standing in the legal field.
He is currently Director of the Procedural and Insolvency Law practice at Vaciero, bringing his experience in complex proceedings and his ability to provide practical and effective legal solutions, strengthening a strategic area for the firm.
