With a degree in Law and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Valladolid and a Master's Degree in Auditing and Management Development, Raquel Ballestero has over 15 years of professional experience in advising companies on financial auditing and financial and accounting advice.
Prior to joining Vaciero, Raquel developed her career in the prestigious firm Deloitte, where she reached the position of Audit Manager.
She has extensive experience in leading and managing audit teams, financial due diligences, internal control review reports, treasury budgets and income and expense projections in large companies in various sectors such as retail, consumer business, industrial and real estate. In her professional career, she has also led numerous company valuation and viability projects, company restructurings and mediation in business acquisition or sale.
Raquel is a registered Auditor in the Spanish Official Register (ROAC) no. 24177 and is also member no. 89543 of the Madrid Bar Association.
