Begoña González has a 5-year Degree in Law by the University of Oviedo. She took further studies at the School of Legal Practice of Gijón and, then Begoña González began her professional career as an in-house lawyer of two leading regional business corporations.
She has been a practising attorney since 1995, as an expert in Insolvency Law, thus providing legal advice to different affected parties to the insolvency procedure (creditors and debtors). She has been appointed Insolvency Administrator of several companies in bankruptcy. She has been managing out-of-court Agreements as well.
She has developed great expertise in Commercial Law, with broad experience in corporate transactions, negotiations, procurement and arbitration, and her great command of languages has enabled her to get involved in the setting up and management of companies and subsidiaries located in other countries. Likewise, she has also been appointed Mediator and balances her professional career with teaching for the Official Association of Economists of Asturias and participating in different seminars and dissemination forums related to her field of expertise.
