Belén Fraga began her professional career as labour lawyer at Garrigues in 1999, until being promoted to Senior Associate in the Labour Law department. At that point, in January 2012, she joined Vaciero to lead the same practice area. She is a member of the SASEC Mediators (Asturian Service to solve out of court Disputes) representing FADE (Asturias association of Businessmen).
She has a 5-year Degree in Law by the University of Oviedo and is member of Oviedo Bar Association. Belén is broadly experienced in labour advice to companies, business corporations and institutions, as well as having vast procedural experience in affairs related to Labour and Social Security Law. She has in-depth knowledge of labour problems at companies and has participated in restructuring processes with labour implications (reductions of staff and substantial modification of working conditions), layoffs and collective bargaining.
She is a lecturer in the Master on HR by the Chamber of Commerce of Gijón -Aedipe. Likewise, she is a regular speaker in legal-labour lectures, seminars and forums organized by several professional entities, as well as a regular writer of legal articles published in specialized journals.
Belén Fraga has been recognised by the prestigious international law directory Best Lawyers since 2022 in the area of Labour and Employment Law.
