Carmen Fernández joined Vaciero in 2001 and after having been promoted to several positions, she became Manager in 2011. In June 2020, she was appointed Audit Partner of Vaciero. She has a 5-year degree in Business Administration by the University of Oviedo and is an Accounting Auditor and member of the Official Registry of Accounting Auditors (ROAC). Carmen Fernández counts on more than 20 years of experience in auditing foundations and non-profit entities as well as in subsidy control and auditing concessionary companies.
As an Auditor, she also gives advice on financial statement audit and risk assessment. She has also participated in financial information certification, process analysis and review and company risk assessment. Likewise, she has been credited for the identification and development of internal continuous improvement projects related to in-house audits and for the implementation of action plans resulting from auditing the Quality Assurance and Improvement Plans for in-house audits.
