Ricardo San Marcos is Vice-president of Vaciero Asturias in Vaciero’s Insolvency Law Area. He leads the filing and management of Insolvency proceedings as well as the refinancing agreements according to the Insolvency Law. His expertise in complex restructuring and insolvency proceedings enables him to coordinate transactions led to the purchase of partial business units of companies undergoing liquidation or closing processes. Likewise, he has been appointed bankruptcy administrator and receiver of companies in difficult situations.
He has a 5-year Degree in Business Administration by the University of Oviedo and a degree in Law with distinction in Law and Business by the International University Isabel I. He has a diploma in Management Development by ESADE, and additional training in business management, such as a course on Strategic Marketing by ESADE and another on e-marketing by ESIC. Ricardo counts on wide experience in continuous advice on company consolidation and restructuring, business development and advice on management. He has participated in negotiations leading to the acquisition of companies and businesses both at national and international levels. Besides, he is a Certified Accounts Auditor and Insolvency, Civil and Commercial Mediator.
While being a regular speaker in forums, courses and lectures, he also teaches at the University of Oviedo, and has published several articles and opinion. Besides, he is Vice-President of Instituto de Mediación [Mediation Body] of the Principality of Asturias.
